This is a great game and an awesome list. I was trying to figure out what mogas I was missing and this helped! One uestion though...are there any tricks to capturing the rare, super rare, etc mogas? I have tried several times to capture the wyrm and Albion plus a few others and have wasted a lot of seeds. How do I catch these darn things?! I cant seem to get them over a 50% catch rate even when they have 1 life yet. Thanx for the help!
I think there is no way to get the the rate up to a high percentage for the rare (or better) mogas. just keep throwing seeds at them. (albion took me 15, I think..)
well my albion is lvl 20 and also my devgorilla is 20. but i met wyrm andevery time i go to wyrm all my star seeds goes
I really enjoy playing this game, but I was just wondering if you could post up a list of the best/strongest Mogas going to the worst/weakest Mogas? Because at the moment I'm normally just having in my team how rare they are/who has the most health. Do Mogas at the same level hit the same damage if, say you get a 'perfect'? or do the same rarity ones hit the same damage at the same level or what? Because i'm just basing my team on purely how rare they are/who has the most health, because it doesn't say how much damage they hit. Sorry it's long post but I was just wondering! Thanks :)

The rarer the moga. The stronger and better they are.
But sometimes, u have to find a Moga with the right speed to get 'perfect'. It all depends on how u play. And from my experience, usually those that are legendary, epic and super rare, the scale moves freaking fast...
In need of help before i quit game.
Ok I'm on Virgo island. Stats r 8/9 mogas 24/27 stars 4/7 quest. I have all stars but two on last stop on island. I have beat Kirin every way I know how. Same level, lower level. All perfect strikes, only final blow perfect strike. All three mogas killed insuring final blow is perfect strike. I've collected every star finished every quest and captured every Moga in all islands up to this spot. I have replayed the entire island three times again all perfect wins. But can not get the final three quest nor will it give me my perfect win when I earn it on the one spot. It's been several days and I have all updates as well. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make sure you use nothing below a very good strike after getting a perfect. Otherwise it drops you to 1 star automatically.

Scale speed can depends on levels
If your mogas are level 40 and enemy is 28 scale will move very slow
You have to finish some quests to unlock new quest

Now the bug fixer has come. Play opihuchus and beat down Otho now.

@glenngenius try opening the game where there's a fast-browsing wifi. I used to have that prob too, but once the download is done, there will be no more downloads. The faster your internet connection is, the faster you get the download done.

So I just caught wyrm bc it took so long for me to save up my star seeds. It took 26 star seeds to catch it! Does it take that many star seeds to catch zomwolf and chimeryx?
I have a problem that is making it hard to continue my game I have encountered a bug in which everytime I return to the map the game shuts off on me and when I turn it back on I'm back at the map but when I touch the map to scroll over to the island I need to go to it shuts off on me again every time I try
I ended up catching wyrm with just 3 seeds so no it's random lol
@justImagine- I want to know where Horus is also, I couldn't find him. Anubis is one of the 30 Moga energy places I think, and Drakos you have to be on the final island to tame.
@Anon above me- It usually doesn't take that much for all of them. It's random, really. I caught Wyrm in three or four ss & spent 30+ on Zomwolf. It's all luck, but I doubt you'll have that much trouble with all of the Epics/Legendaries.

You can find it to capture on sagittarius island.
Horus,drakos and titus are all at opihuchus.
Zomwolf and chimeryx too, it may took a lot of starseed or not. It sure up to luck.
Oh, i forgot. Drakos can be caught after become master of opihuchus( very difficult.

Lucky. I capture scenewolf with six ss. But i capture gocon in three ss.
The best epic moga is gocon and the best super rare is scenewolf. Gocon is similar to legendary but has 10 % capture rate. Scenewolf is similar to epic but has 15 % capture rate.

it's hard to get legendary mogas unless you hack but it's ilegal so i can't catch wyrm or zomwolf but i can catch boomer, orbz, zeit, and yuki.

Like the game and I'm only on the island with the towers but if you need to catch legends, super rares, etc memorize how much damage it does on very good and perfect for those of you with a hard time because I caught gin by using only 2 star seeds with a lvl 7 devgorilla.

:) my first LEGENDARY was Wyrm, 5% chance and it only took me like 3 seeds to get him! a good rule of thumb is basically make sure you know how much PErfect and Very Good damages do so you don't end up killing the moga, get them low HP, under 100 if possible and then just throw seeds at them, good luck everyone!! save your money, don't buy mogas like I did :( waste of $10! fun game though
i just about died of happiness when i caught wyrm after 4 starseeds, although sauridon took me a while and i still cant find babana!!! it wont come out! its corgito after corgito after corgito! >:( im ready to pull my hair out!!!

Can anyone help me with capturing wyrm and brolo. Brolo is the boss on the first island and no matter how much I try I fail every time with 60% success rate, that's crazy. Wyrm is only 5% for me. I am trying to just capture every moga so I can level up faster.
My Gin is 23~ beast
Minotaur is 21
Albion is 18
Pudgy is 17
Electrotter is 17
Zeit is 17
Woolf is 16
Gorg is 13
Spartacus is 13
Those are the main ones I use, I have a bunch more but they all suck. I'm trying to level up the low ones now .

I didn't have a problem, but then I went in with 190 mogu. I'm working on trying to get the last 4. Drako is the mogu you get for mastering Ophiuchus, and Horus is the Mogu you get for playing the throne room again.
For all those who are willing to spend $4.99, you can then use your Moga cash to play the lucky moga and win lots more cash. There are a lot of "better" cards that have 8, 14, 16, or even 24 moga as a prize, and the random picker tends to chose the "Better" over the "Good". And once you win a "Best", you can then exit the lucky moga and go back into it to get a new random set of three cards. Do that over and over until you get the split of cards you want, and ultimately you can get as many energy drinks, star seeds, and moga cash as you need. As well as the remaining Mogus that are available as Best. All it takes is a bit of grinding.
One last thing, once you get all of the Mogus from the Lucky Moga, it'll then start substituting Better cards in the place of the Best, so you have the potential to win even more cash.

So, I could enter to the last island 'Ophiuchus'. The mogas are VERY STRONG But, you can beat them easily. ;) You need to use 30 energy when you challenge a stage. There are marvelous mogas which are Super Rare, Epic or Legendary. LET'S BEAT THE LAST ISLAND!

I beated the Ophiuchus and caught Drakos! I threw nearly 20 seeds and now my top 3 mogas are Wyrm, Drakos and Yuki. I have nothing to do in this game anymore... This is sad thing, but Im so happy! ;)

*Basic Tips*
Do not waste your Starseeds on every Moga! As you level up, you don't really need Uncommon or Rare Mogas. They are simply useless. Just go for Mogas that are easy to capture in order to move on to the next Islands.

actually there is way to earn star seeds and coffee cups without paying...the answer lies in which battle u undetake and pattern of attack... got 30 + teascup, 60+ seeds even after catching wyrm and wolf

For some reason, the capture button does not highlight for drakos or horus? Do I need to meet some conditions (like pets have to be all Level 50)? I try and could not get the capture turned on (keep killing it since I have no other options)
Tiano has good attack but low on health.
Kirin is better than Tiano. It has good attack and good health as well.

How do I get more without spending money? Do I have to wait for weeks on end getting the daily prize for Starseeds, then catching one of those Mogas? That will take FOREVER. I don't want to do that.
I have 84 Mogas and I need 90 to get to Pisces Isaland, but I have no Starseeds.

but how do you get them withouit paying money? It seems all this game is for is to take as much money from you as possible. And besides, you have to pay a lot of money for little Moga Cash. I'm not rich, and I can't spend $20 trying to get these guys.

Here is a way to get seeds without money. After u beat a moga and they explode, the word "done" appears on screen. Right before the word done appears tap your screen where the word done will appear before it appears. This works a lot! Have to time it right but once u get the gang it will work

WTF when I try to catch Chimeryx it NEVER worked I wasted 58 starseeds on it and no catch, and it was at 5% (max for legendary)! By math I should've had it at around 20 starseeds. Why not 40? Or 58? It made me waste all those starseeds and now I'm mad.
I have caught all 137 Mogas and finished all the missions with all my Legendary's and Epic's at Level 50. Is there anything else left to do in the game? Or just uninstall and get on with my life?

Quick level up glitch/cheat? This was accidental, I was re-doing some levels to level up some of my moga ( I have been leveling them all up to the Max Level every time an new one pops up. It's time consuming but it helps, somewhat, it helped me hitch some more StarSeeds by random encounters.). Well, the screen froze right after I beat one of the wild mogas, it lasted for a bit and when it jumped to the exp. point part the mogas I ha at level 19 had made a jump to the full max level at that time,which was 23. It wasn't exp. points, I "train" them on the Mainlad, second level where the Lobo is since it seems to give more exp points (400 or more) and with little Trainer hp cost (just 5). Later on, it froze again, with other moga and when it unfroze the same thing happened. It happened 3 times with the same result. So I began to try it out myself, to make it "freeze" on that one part, when the moga sorta "explodes" or before the Done button appears. So far...it has given me no problems. It does work, not always. Sometimes it kicks me out of the app and I get no points, but at a trainer hp of 5 its no biggie. Sometimes it works normally giving me 400 or so exp points. Other points it gives me more, like it doubles them but still says 400 or so. Other times it does jump my moga levels to 1 or 3 sometimes all the way up to max level. It hasn't affected the app or gameplay. Pretty much is escaping the application when the moga explodes then going back to the app, it will be slightly frozen, then its waiting to see if it works or not. As I said, it wont work always but when it does its awesome. I mean, so far I have tackled 20 of my mogas to current max level in just one day, with little hp wasted. .______. What's up with that?
Check info on the Moga you want captured see what Moga they are weak against and use these type Moga against it
the monster galaxy page on facebook says u can tame valgore on zodiac islands if u get it on the iPod, i did get the zodiac islands on my iPod, but how do i get Valgore? please help, anyone! :(
Catching harder (rarer) mogas is more difficult, there are no tips, I wasted more than 100 seeds on Wyrm
I caught Wyrm in one try. NO JOKE!
Also, @anonymous. First you must either get Flam or Deadheat. Then you must evolve them with evolution potion. That is how I got my Valgore.
I currently have 193 star seeds, every moga that's catchable on the islands, 19 of them are level 50, had 64 coffee's but used them all. And haven't spent a cent on them game :)
we can only catch a moga at once, but why cactoo can be caught during quest in aries island and also be caught after getting 3 stars in all areas of the aqurius island?

I've beaten Boomer at least 10 times and it never gives me the option to catch him. Anyone else had this issue? Any tips?

Maybe you do not use a team of mogas with high enough level. Try using your strongest mogas, and if it doesn't work level them up and try again.
So I'm having problems catching peafyx. I've beaten the island with 3 stars on every level but when i go to catch peafxy it won't let me saying its too strong.
For those of you who haven't realized, you get 3 stars when you get at least 1 perfect attack AND end the battle with a zodiac.

I have Wyrm levl 36, Yuki lvl 35, Zomwolf lvl 35 and other Epics with similar lvls. When I try to catch Sauridon, Syrene, Kirin, Anubis, the CAPTURE button just will not light up, even if they only have 1-3 points left. What to do? How do I get the chance to capture these? Any suggestions? It's very frustrting as I'd like to be able to capture them all...
thats right. just keep throwing seeds at them. although im playing the phone version. it took me 1 starseed for albion and a lot of starseeds for the master mogas. it took abt more then 50,i think......

very useful list. underline USEFUL.but, i made the list in a notebook and so far, i found that i think 11 mogas are uncapturable (Jiangshi, Zomoo, Knightaur, Titus, Giraffin, Jor, Arion, Grilla, Edgehog, Horus, Drakos). based on the list, these are not there. so um, still good. still good. 126 mogas ain't bad from 137, right? hehehe... :3 never mind.
This the way i got the mogas like valgore,darkgold etc.At the start don't waste cash. When you will reach 3rd island you will have approximately 20-30 cash. If you do have it play lucky moga and wish to get moga cash. if you get starseeds and blue coffee then leave it and earn more.

It depends on luck. I got lucky because early in the game, I played that lucky moga and I brought home a Gravedigger (Level 6) and he is my main moga in my team ince then (Just completed Virgo Island with Gravedigger at level 23)
I have captured Zeit with only one starseed, Zomwolf with 2 starseeds and Cactoo only 3 starseeds. Tip: If you can't capture a moga, attack it again with the lowest attack you can inflict and try to bring a moga to the lowest hp.

Hello i love this game there is also a new game called Monster Galaxy Exile where king Otho has exiled him and you have to start again in another dimension. Im on the last island on the first game and i have realized even for some super rare and epic mogas if you throw your star seeds fast i mean fast soon as its your turn to do a move it does capture and it and when you have got the moga you want to capture on 1-5 health refill your 3 mogas with blue coffe and throw seeds fast it increases the capture rate and collect the daily prizes they are very very usesfull well actually you need them. Please update the list for other people and do one for the Exile game :)

I'm on the island of Virgo and discovered this site when I was barely starting Cancer. I've grown curious on the bug in King Otho's lair. I'm SOO anxious to beat this game, but it just gets me worried to keep going ahead. Knowing that the bug fixer came out, did it come out on Android??

Errr i finished the game.. got the 4 legendary mogas all at level 50.. got 125 something mogas.. finished all the quests.. basing on my list i just need to capture 8 more but the summary on top shows 125/203 soooooo can anyone tell me if game continues on after king otho's island? (Btw im using the app from google play and not the one from itunes) thanks a bunch to anyone who would reply :)

Level up your Spartacus and Zeit and get Wyrm. They really help.
Cannot get to deadman's fall on scorpio island, got a sudden black screen then i am out of the application. So basically i am stuck got 21 stars out of 24 on this island I just miss this last spot to become scorpio island master and move forward to the next. Any solution? thanks
The maximal chance of capturing a Moga depends of its class (beginer, common, uncommon...). I'm not sure, but I think that the maximal chance for a super-rare (like Albion if I remember correctly) is of 15%. Not sure though.
On Otho's Island, the bug must be fixed because the only thing I downloaded was the game. I would post who is where but I don't remember them all, the quest Moga is Dragos though. I may go through the island again & write everything down & post it here so people who haven't played yet can know what is where.
The 203 mogas are bought with moga cash and won from lucky moga
The game won't let me catch Boomer, but I have 3 stars on every part of the island. What's with that?
